MotionSites (motionsites.ai) sells prompts for AI website builders. You browse a gallery of designed pages and effects, copy the prompt behind one, and paste it into Lovable, Bolt, Cursor or Claude to generate the design in your own project. The catalogue covers apps, animated backgrounds, sections and 40+ templates, plus an MCP integration for use inside coding agents.

Two details worth slowing down for:
The 3-month and yearly plans renew automatically. That is normal SaaS billing, but this is not SaaS — it is a content library. If you buy for one project, set a reminder to cancel.
The entry plan has a fair-use limit of 3 prompt copies per day. On a weekend sprint, three copies is roughly one page with revisions. Above the entry tier the limit goes away.
What they do well
Curation and taste. The gallery is genuinely strong on motion and atmosphere — the animated backgrounds especially. If your product page needs to feel alive, their aesthetic sensibility is a real asset.
Academy. Free video tutorials on prompting, animation and 3D. Nobody else in this niche teaches for free at that production level.
Ecosystem. MCP support, a browser extension (GetDesign) and an affiliate programme paying 40% with a 30-day cookie. It is a maturing business, not a weekend project.
Where to look carefully
No free tier is listed. You cannot run one of their prompts through your own builder before paying. For a product whose whole pitch is output quality, that is a meaningful gap — output varies a lot between builders.
Recurring billing plus a daily cap on the entry plan means the cheapest way to evaluate seriously is $49 for a handful of downloads, or $129 that renews.
Who should buy it
- You care most about motion design and visual atmosphere, and video tutorials help you learn — MotionSites is a good fit.
